Earlier this year, ASUS has introduced a tiny desktop computer with an Intel Bay Trail processor, and what the company originally mentioned as a "fanless" design. Unfortunately, that was until ASUS decides to change his plans, and put a fan in the chassis, and costs.
While mini-PCs are proving popular, very few them can boast a fanless design. ASUS had imagined this at the beginning of this year, but ended up pushing a fan inside the Eee Box 1037.

But today, ASUS has a new mini-PC with a remarkably similar design . But this time, it really comes without a fan. Anyway, that's what ASUS says.
The ASUS E210 is positioned as a thin client computer that will be available with Windows Embedded Standard 8, Windows Embedded Standard 7, or DOS - or what I assume is actually freeDOS, because this is a time that Microsoft did not sell DOS devices. But I do not see why it would not be able to run other operating systems. Indeed, the ASUS E210 is probably capable of running most operating systems, including Linux distributions according to your requirements.
The computer has a dual-core Intel Celeron processor N2807 2.16GHz and 4GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of internal storage (SSD). For connectivity, it will have Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n.
It has HDMI and VGA ports, an Ethernet jack, three USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 port, headset jack, an SDXC card slot, and a serial port. The device measures 21.8 x 17.3 x 2.79 inches and weighs 680 grams.
Now it only remains to wait availability, and if it happens without much fan ... Of course, users will be drawn to the fact that it is lightweight and can easily be "clipped" on the back of a screen.
