The first major Microsoft event for 2015 will take place in a few hours, and it seems increasingly clear that it will not only on Windows 10 - not least by the presence of Joe Belfiore, to the head of the mobile division of the Redmond company.
Today, The Information wrote that Microsoft could also introduce a "new hardware" and be a hybrid of a laptop computer smartphone . If this information is not just another fantasy of a computer, then the publication could appeal to all professionals.

Would it be a Windows version of the promising but condemned Palm Foleo? Or, would it be a similar device to the keyboard ASUS EEE (but with a completely different look), or Windows iteration Padfone X? Finally, it could just be a smartphone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. At present, these questions remain unanswered. Nevertheless, it is very exciting to imagine such a device.
An agnostic platform
Microsoft developed the new Windows 10 operating system to replace the current Windows 8.1, and therefore the distinction will be to unify multiple devices, be it a smartphone, a tablet, a smartwatch or computer.
There are also rumors that Microsoft will reveal a single code base that would allow applications to be natively platform agnostic , meaning that they could run on multiple devices, regardless of whether they are based on x86 or ARM architecture, or if they have a large or small screen.
The logical result could be that Microsoft will deploy a unified application store, instead of two completely disjoint entities (for two different architectures). This opens the door to a much wider audience of developers.
