[CES 2015] ASUS Unveils Smartphone with 4 GB of RAM and one with optical zoom


ASUS Unveils Zenfone 2 and Zenfone Zoom, with interesting features.

During the CES in Las Vegas, the manufacturer unveiled the ASUS Zenfone 2. If its characteristics have generally nothing to stand out from other products on the market, it should be noted nonetheless an interesting feature: the ASUS Zenfone 2 has a SUPER QUAD CORE INTEL ATOM processor with 64-bit and above RAM 4 GB (a version with 2 GB of RAM is also mentioned).

Everything runs on Andoid Lollipop, accompanied by the new version of the overlay of the manufacturer the ASUS ZenUI.

All this should appeal to consumers looking for performance as well as fans of mobile gaming and multitasking.

The internal memory varies between 16 and 64 GB depending on the version and the battery is 3000 mAh.

Screen side, it has a 5.5-inch IPS panel, Full HD and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass glass 3. The mobile measuring 152.5 x 77.2 x 10.9mm.

At the rear, the NPC is 13 MP (f / 2.0, auto-focus, HRD) and at the front, it has a 5MP camera wide angle (85 degrees) for selfies.

In addition Zenfone 2, ASUS also unveiled the Zenfone Zoom. According to the manufacturer, it is the "smartphone with optical zoom 3X the finest in the world that offers up to 12X zoom-in effect".

Rather the Zenfone Zoom 11.95mm thickness measurement and everything seems to have been designed for photos. Behind the optical zoom lies a 13 MP camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus and laser aperture at f / 2.7. As to the internal memory, it can go up to 128 GB, depending on version.
