LG G4: it will not be announced at Mobile World Congress

If you expected to see the LG G4 announced at Mobile World Congress 2015 with other Android flagships, you may be slightly disappointed. According to a new publication from Korea, LG will not show its flagship smartphone at MWC 2015 but at a later date .

Korean publication Chosun said receiving confirmation of a leader that the LG G4 will not be exposed at Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona in March of this year. Instead, we can expect it to be announced at the same time as the G3, that is to say, in the month of May this year. During the Catalan event, LG will launch other products, such as new mobile devices and probably a new smartwatch that will run on webOS , the currently embedded in its LG Smart TV platform.

This does not seem very surprising since manufacturers are generally limited to a launch every year to their flagship devices. While the LG G3 was announced last May, an announcement in May 2015 G4 sense.

This additional time will allow LG to perfect his G4, and optimize the hardware. With a G3 that was a huge success last year; being the second most popular smartphone after the Android Galaxy S5 no doubt that the Korean company wants to build on this momentum. A launch in May should not be penalized. However, we must also keep in mind that last year, the G3 was a big one: a screen with a resolution Quad HD. This year, I am curious to see how LG plans to differentiate its flagship . Almost all leading smartphones this year will arrive with a Quad HD display, it seems unlikely that LG is able to differentiate the G4 with the screen. The rest of the specifications for the G4 are also very similar to most other flagship smartphones that should be launched during the year.

According to rumors, the LG G4 come with a 5.3 inch screen with a resolution Quad HD, the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 810, 4GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilizer, and a stylus. It will of course be running Android 5.0 Lollipop, with the overlay of the company extra.
