Installed natively on the Lumia 930 , Skype is updated automatically at startup of the unit. To connect to the application, tap the icon and in the window that appears, type your username or address of your Microsoft account (Hotmail, Xbox Live or Outlook) followed by the password. And that's it!

When you first launch the application, you are offered to enable notifications . Accept: you will be notified when a call or message reception, even if you have not run Skype.
Otherwise, a small orange tablet will indicate calls and messages received in your absence when you connect to the application. Click on it to show.

The main interface of Skype has three tabs that a slip of the finger is scrolled. In the "Favorites" tab, add the people you contact most often, in order to find them easily. The "Recent" tab shows 5 last conversations, and "contacts" tab, a list of your contacts.
To make a call, select your interlocutor, and in the next window, press the phone icon if you want audio chat , or the camera for video face to face . In this case, the image of the caller fills the screen while yours is displayed as a small window. Note that if you close the window during a Skype video chat, for example to navigate menus and applications of the Lumia 930, the camera turns off, but the conversation is not interrupted. Once back on Skype, simply click on the camera icon to activate the video.
