Microsoft is working on two new versions of Office , and both are expected to be launched before the end of the year. Office 2016 is the next version of the popular office suite of Office of the Redmond company. But there are also new touch applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook, optimized for smartphones, tablets and other touch screen devices. Microsoft calls it: Office for Windows 10 .
The new touch-oriented applications are Windows applications Universal ( Universal Windows Apps ), which means they are designed to operate over a wide range of devices with different screen sizes and types of processors. The version of Excel that will run on smartphones will be approximately the same as that will run on tablets.

Microsoft is already free mobile version of Office available to Windows Phone users, and Office for Windows 10 will continue to be free ... for some devices . The office suite will come preloaded on smartphones and tablets running Windows Small 10.
Free and paid version
If you want to run the software suite on large tablets or laptops, it will be available for download from the Windows Store, but Microsoft does not promise that it will be free for users of these devices. A preview version of Office for Windows 10 will be available for people running Windows 10 Technical Preview few weeks.
