123 million wearable devices should invade the lives of users worldwide in 2018. This figure has been advanced by IDATE as part of a study on the future of connected objects. It concerns including all currently known wearables: sunglasses, watches and jewelry bracelets but also more generally.
Market growth is now estimated at 70% per year. Connected watches, easier to carry and with already many models of all shapes, seem best positioned to integrate daily increasingly open to new technologies consumers.
