Weber said that the latest version of Windows was designed to provide support to existing Lumia smartphones, regardless of shape, size and the intrinsic performance of the device. There are entry-level models with low resolution screens, and small amounts of RAM and high-end devices the size of a Phablet with faster hardware and better components.
Windows 10 almost all ...
This suggests that some features of Windows 10 may not be available on all smartphones, and some may encounter some difficulties with already marketed devices. But basically, Microsoft said that if you buy a Lumia smartphone today, there is a good chance that it is able to run Windows 10 when it becomes available.
New features in Windows 10 for smartphones include an update Settings application, support for custom backgrounds images on the home screen, and new versions of Microsoft Office applications, which have been optimized for the touch. We will also benefit from a new Outlook application.
Smartphones running Windows 10 will also be able to synchronize data with tablets, laptops, and other PCs running Windows 10 with the storage service on the Microsoft cloud OneDrive. In addition, they will even use some of the same applications. For example, Outlook is essentially the same application, it is installed on a smartphone with a chip based on the ARM architecture, or a desktop PC with an Intel or AMD processor.
Microsoft also encourages third-party developers to create what it calls universal applications , Universal Windows Apps, which will be able to work across different types of devices.
