You bought a MacBook Pro between early 2011 and late 2013 and have display problems? Maybe you can take advantage of the "free repair" operation that Apple has just launched duress. Indeed, more and more users complained in recent months of a graphics card problem on this computer model. The hundreds of messages have even been posted on the manufacturer's forum about this.

But Apple has turned a deaf ear. So, last October, some disgruntled users began to come together in a class action ("Class Action"). The manufacturer has relented and has just launched a website dedicated to this issue entitled "MacBook Pro warranty extension program for problems related to video" .

On this page, Apple explains that "some MacBook Pro systems, very small percentage may present a distorted image, no picture or restarts unexpected system" . Not much for a computer of this price range.

To determine if your MacBook Pro is affected by this operation, it is sufficient to indicate the serial number of your equipment.

If this is the case, Apple will cover the repair from 27 February. Grand Prince, Apple is also committed to reimburse the costs if you have already cracked and fix your computer through Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
