HTC has big plans for 2015. So far, we have had many leaks about its next flagship smartphone, the One M9, and some information about its first portable device and a smartwatch. But today we hear of another high-end smartphone, which is considered the Butterfly 3.

The leaker Upleaks posted a couple of tweets on a device he believes to be the HTC Butterfly 3 . The first specification we have for the smartphone is the size of the screen and resolution. Based on the informationupleaks, HTC will put a beautiful display with a resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) on the Butterfly 3. This screen should be about 5.2 inches , making it slightly larger than the expected screen size for the HTC One M9.
The Butterfly series of the Taiwanese firm is generally intended for Asian customers and arrives at a fancy plastic, instead of a metal frame as the One series. Last year, the Butterfly 2 had all the best high-end features available, and has been marketed in many Asian countries. If this first flight is any indication, it seems that the Butterfly 3 will follow that tradition.
The rest of the smartphone is currently unknown characteristics , such as its launch date. The last was released in August and given the scarcity of news on the device so far, it seems likely that we will not see the launch of the smartphone in the coming weeks. After all, the Mobile World Congress, which begins March 2, is probably reserved for its flagship device, the One M9.
