Ctrl + [Scroll]

Instead of clicking on the browser menu, and then click on the + or - to zoom-in / zoom, simply hold down the Ctrl key and scroll down the web page to zoom out or down above to enlarge.

Ctrl + [Keypad]

To switch between tabs, instead of clicking on it, you simply hold down the Ctrl key and press a one of the digits of your keypad. Consider that your tabs are numbered from 1 to 9, starting from the left.

Ctrl + left click

When you hold down the Ctrl key as you left click on a link, it will have the effect of opening the link in another tab. Is much better than making a right click to "Open in new tab" .

Space

When reading a PDF or a long article, you use the scroll is certainly your mouse or the up and down arrow keys or (you never know) handling the browser scroll bar. But in my opinion, the fastest way is to use the Space key. This is equivalent to pressing the Page Down key, except the Space key is much closer.

Ctrl + L, Alt + D or F6

When you want to enter a URL, you can click on the address bar. Or you can simply use one of the three shortcuts to put the focus on it and enter the address.
