The application in question has Tycho file name, and appears to be for something called Project Fi . It is likely that once the Google wireless service launched, it will be named differently. But there is a nice little logo that goes with the code name Project Fi.
Although it is possible that the application is not real, or that includes the code for features that are not really part of the service, here are some things that the application says:
Google allows you to choose the amount of data you want to s per month, and you will get a refund in the month for data s not used.
You exceed the threshold? The price per additional GB is the same as if you had signed in the first place for a subscription with more data s.
Phone calls and SMS to US numbers are free.
You can have more than one line on your account, and there is also the option to make an only option data s if you want to add a tablet to your package.
You have several phones? You can activate the device from a button. It is not necessary to change the SIM card.
Wireless service Google will most likely use the networks of Sprint and T-Mobile.
You will be able to pay your bill and manage your account from your smartphone using the application "Tycho". And while it is not yet clear if the service is only available to users of the Nexus 6, the latter is the only smartphone mentioned in the source code of the application.
