It's called Google Tone, installs like any extension for the browser and its usefulness is that it allows to share links without using instant messaging services, apps or media as Pushbullet yet like Bluetooth.
The principle is also incredibly simple. Once you've installed the extension, you can press the button of it to share a link. Your computer will hear sound (which contains an URL). This sound will be received and interpreted by computers around, for example those of your employees, if they have the Chrome browser and the extension installed.
