Facebook Messenger is the latest application that has joined the very exclusive club of three commas, alongside Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, YouTube, Google Search and Maps. Other than the services of Google, Facebook is the only other company to have an Android app with over a billion downloads in the Play Store.

David Marcus, vice president for messaging services, Facebook Messenger and thus, celebrated this new course on his Facebook profile, stating: "very pleased to join the exclusive club of 1 billion downloads on Android".
Most of us remember the day when we needed to open our Facebook application to reply to a message from a friend. Later, a prompt asking us to download the Messenger application was displayed continuously . Many users have made the leap reluctantly, and countless others have simply refused for a long time, just on principle.

The Messenger integration in our mobile is only growing, and its links with the Facebook mobile has reinforced the value of advertising of the company, even if the application itself is not flooded with commercials.
