Despite this non-marketing smartwatch the images have surfaced , and The Verge reports that the device has borrowed its user interface design of Windows Phone . It was designed to help manage email messages, make calls or send messages from your wrist. An option to use the watch as a remote shutter release to take pictures with the camera of your smartphone, and support for other applications, like Facebook, are also mentioned features.
Nokia has even added a number sensors, allowing the watch to light up when the user raises the arm to look at her, and off when the user lowered his arm.
The device itself sported a square screen with customizable dials, and more bracelets colors typical of Nokia: green, orange and black.
So why Microsoft left the project? According to The Verge, it's because the company was already working on the Microsoft Band, has more features , such as support for Microsoft's digital assistant, Cortana.
Yet I am sure that there is at least some fans who would have liked Windows Phone a smartwatch designed to work with their smartphones.
