Proactive learns how you use your smartphone , and automatically offers suggestions based on your time, location, connected devices, and other details.
For example, if you tend to listen to music while you are doing sports, your smartphone will know where you are and turn on the music player when you connect your headphones.
Or, if you listened to an audio book during your daily commute, your iPhone can open the book when you find your car after work so you can resume where you left off without having to open the application.

Before you even begin searching, iOS 9 also performs the search page of the information you might want to read, including contacts suggestions, nearby locations, and recent press articles.

Apple claims that iOS 9 can also retrieve information from your device to do other cool things. For example, if a call is received on your smartphone while you do not know, your iPhone can scan your e-mail to see if the number has been seen before, and give you a possible name to avoid showing the unknown number.

You receive an invitation to an event by e-mail? iOS 9 can automatically add events to a calendar, and send you a reminder when it is time to leave for the event.

Concerned about what Apple makes your private data? Apple says that everything happens to your device, and that nothing is shared on the cloud, or shared with third party applications or services . So while Proactive can scan your emails, contacts, and other applications, information is never sent to Apple's servers.

News, the new application news

Other new features in iOS include 9 Notes applications and maps are updated. With the latter, you will notably be able to view the schedules of public transportation. Thus, the route between two points will be proposed with buses, trams and metros of supported cities.

Apple also launched a new application called News that provides all the news of the day, and learns from your reading behavior to show you the items that interest you. In other words, this is a very famous Flipboard clone.
