Huawei Unveils smartwatch Band Zero, and the headset Honor Whistle

Like most electronics giants, the Chinese company Huawei has tried to introduce in various sectors in recent years. Of course, it manufactures smartphones, but also connected objects, famous wearables which everyone talks to date. His efforts in this latter field of activity include activity trackers, and smartwatches.

Although Huawei's efforts are worn on the high end, the company looks set to complete its catalog with portable devices cheaper. On his Twitter account, Huawei has Tease the Zero Band, smartwatch a low cost and a new Bluetooth headset called the Whistle Honor.

Watch connected Band Zero, which Huawei says it could happen in August in the Chinese territory, sports a circular screen with a polished steel frame. It is resistant to water and dust with an IP68 certification, and has multiple sensors capable of measuring sleep and physical activity. It will be available in white and beige.
Huawei did not disclose the operating system of the Zero Band, but given the autonomy of the listed battery - about four days - the very greedy Android Wear seems unlikely. More likely (for better or worse), it will ship an OS derived from that found in the Talkband B2, the strap connected to the firm.
The fact that Huawei Zero Band describes as a "smart wearable device" rather than a smartwatch suggests it could be a connected strap, dedicated to tracking your activity. It could well compete with offers from Jawbone, Misfit or Fitbit, rather than Apple Watch Watch Urbane and LG.

Then there is the Honor Whistle, a Bluetooth headset. We find a button in the foreground with an indicator on the remaining charge in the battery. It features a brushed metal finish and come in two versions: black and beige. Huawei has not yet revealed its price and availability.

As evidenced by my grip with Talkband B2, there is no doubt that Huawei knows how to build quality of connected objects. His problem, at least historically, has been marketing its products abroad . Unfortunately, it does not seem that this could change with the Zero Band and Honor Whistle that the tweet suggests they will arrive only on Chinese territory.
