Each high-end smartphone boasts today some key features in the photo section. Some even make their main activity. While iOS and Android have mostly dominated the scene, Microsoft does not want to be left behind, especially with the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 PureView cameras and XL.

To put this in context, Microsoft (and Nokia) has been a pioneer in the "camera phone" market when it unveiled the first smartphone PureView with its 41 megapixel sensor delusional. However, since the firm has rested on its laurels. Having acquired the mobile division of Nokia, Redmond company is now trying to catch up with the Lumia 950 and its bigger brother.
Microsoft has posted a new article on his blog to reveal what the firm called "camera magic" ("magic" camera) for recent smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
As you know after discovering the two smartphones in the last few days, they boarded a rear 20 megapixel sensor with optical stabilization of the fifth generation of image, and an LED flash three times. And Microsoft says they feature a "most advanced camera, like its software". Microsoft has released a series of examples of images captured by the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL on his blog, highlighting the natural colors and lack of noise in different shots.
Even in low light
The publication also boasts the capabilities of smartphones in low light conditions, thanks to its optical stabilizer improved and more open allowing Lumia collect much more light than the competition. This is a real achievement because it is the common scourge of mobile photography.
Interestingly, while some manufacturers, like LG, for example, boast add advanced manual controls for professional photographers ravished, Microsoft aims to keep things simple with an automatic mode. The application decides what parameters to use depending on the scene and how the user takes the picture.
The triple LED flash could also be a notable addition. Using the three primary colors red, green and blue, the flash can intelligently apply the colors depending on the environment, instead of applying the same color flat on the pictures. This natural color matching works even when the flash is used in strong light for added effects.
Needless to say, I can not wait to get their hands on the new Lumia, and see if they are really up to the claims of the Redmond company. In the past, the Lumia 930 and Lumia 1020 have received many praise from the high-tech press about the camera, and there is hope that this continues on new smartphones.
