The ambitious startup OnePlus dedicated to smartphones announced OnePlus X. This is a device that has been raised for some time, but many details of its design and its price remained in the unknown. It turns out that the smartphone is remarkable for two reasons: it is beautiful, and it comes at a very competitive price.

There are two smartphones: the OnePlus Onyx X and X OnePlus Ceramic. Both are almost identical, but they were made using different materials. In addition, the second version is a limited edition. Anyone trying to buy a OnePlus 2 knows what it means limited edition, but for this model there will be only 10,000.
What makes the X Ceramic OnePlus so special? It was designed over a period of 25 days, during which a ceramic shell is cooked, designed and polished to make it resistant to scratches, and giving it a beautiful finish. The Onyx OnePlus X replaces the casing of ceramic glass, hand polished until a mirror finish, and the two smartphones have an anodised metal chassis, with the same "Slider Alert" button that is found on the OnePlus 2 to toggle effortlessly between three profiles notifications without ever having to leave your smartphone from your pocket.
Under the hood
The OnePlus X has a thickness of 6.9 mm, and is the thinnest smartphone that the company has done so far. There is a weight difference between the two versions, since the model weighs 138 grams Onyx, while the Ceramic model weighs 160 grams.
OnePlus decided to use an AMOLED screen on the X OnePlus, which measures 5 inches and full HD resolution, or 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has an unusual way of ambient notification, and the proximity sensor automatically turns the screen when you take the smartphone in your pocket or purse. OnePlus promises that the size and resolution of the screen will help you get the most battery capacity mAh 2525.
A reliable 801 Snapdragon processor with 3 GB of memory (RAM) powers the smartphone, and there are only 16 GB of internal memory to fill you up. A micro SD card 128 GB can be added, but you sacrifice one of the SIM slots in the dual SIM port. OnePlus opted for a 13-megapixel rear camera with a super-fast phase detection autofocus. In front, there is a 8 megapixel camera with beauty mode.
Unlike OnePlus 2, the OnePlus X has a micro USB port for charging and not USB Type-C. It has OxygenOS, based on Android 5.1.1, which is good news. Other features include the addition of an FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.
Still invitations
Naturally, since this is a smartphone OnePlus to get one, you'll need an invitation. It will arrive in Europe on November 5 for the X OnePlus Onyx, which will cost 269 euros. The OnePlus X Ceramic will be priced at 369 euros. The invitations will arrive on November 24.
