Microsoft has unveiled a new starter kit for Windows Iot Core and Raspberry Pi 2. The kit, which includes sensors, electronic components, the son and cables that are compatible with Windows 10, and allow companies to build prototypes and machines that can transmit information back to a database.
For example, Microsoft claims that the starter kit can help companies create weather stations that produce data based on interactions with the environment, or tools that communicate with a sensor analog photocell to measure the light intensity and even a robot that can be controlled by the joystick and the Raspberry Pi.

In collaboration with a company called Adafruit, Microsoft developed the hardware that comes with the starter kit, such as an SD card preloaded with Windows 10 Iot Core. Microsoft says that developers who buy the solution may have their own applications written in less than 190 minutes, including the configuration of the Raspberry Pi, the connected device and application development.
All this costs just 40 dollars for the version that does not have the Raspberry Pi 2, although all those who buy will cost 115 dollars.
