WhatsApp is preparing to launch video chats

For now, it is only rumors. But it would be quite logical.

Although it is one of the mobile applications of the most popular instant messaging in the world, WhatsApp is not really number one in terms of safety  or in terms of the features.

It is even often outpaced by competing services. For example, the app still does not offer video calls while many competitors are already doing.

However, sources indicate that Facebook's instant messaging service is preparing today to launch this feature. For now, nothing is official. But a few hours ago, the blog Cult Of Mac relayed these screenshots, showing what video calls on WhatsApp could look like.

Thus, the new iOS app WhatsApp could compete with services like FaceTime or Skype. In addition, according to rumors, the application will also propose a new tab system that will quickly switch from one conversation to another.
