This is called a type of attack defacement, the Canal Plus website referred yesterday to a page criticizing the wars in the world, accusing "some [finding] still the way to be happy and think to themselves " . The defacement or defacement is to erase a website to change or partially or fully appearance.
A second message deplored the "silence of the world about the three years of slaughter in Syria" , adding that "the goal of this attack is not to cause damage, but to deliver a message to the world" .
The attack was claimed by Moroccanwolf hacker groups and AMAR ^ SHG, they present themselves as pirates from Morocco and Albania. Moroccanwolf the group would not be his first attempt and has already claimed hundreds of attacks , mainly against South African sites.
Canal Plus has reacted quickly via his Twitter account by reassuring users and inviting them to use the MyCanal service. Yesterday morning, again via Twitter, the group explained that "all [its] new platforms are now accessible to all" .
