Florida State University students have developed the first drone race driven only through mind control interfaces. You read only drones controlled by the mind. They naturally named this race that is unique in the world, the Brain Drone Race.

The technology has existed for many years in laboratories, but gradually the EEG headsets (EEG) have applications which should accelerate future democratization. These helmets are able to interpret brain activity in order to convert them into actual orders.
The first Brain Drone Race has been using this technology to pilot drones by the mind. 16 pilots of a new kind have thus competed in this competition, which is simply stunning. Although one might imagine that it is easy to think of doing something to make it work in reality is more complex and each must know his brain activity in order to work orders more clearly, that the drone react accordingly. Everything but easy!
Although today it comes to drone racing in the premises of a university, such experiments are very important because it is not impossible that one day EEG headsets can afford to really control the drones, or even other everyday objects or cars.
